A1 Solar Signings
NEWPORT, R.I. — The Gulls are thrilled to announce the signings of Samford junior outfielder Michael Gupton and redshirt freshman infielder Will Fosberg of Northeastern, powered by A1 Roofing’s Solar Division.
Gupton has been an offensive powerhouse as of the end of April, hitting .305 in 28 games. He’s averaged over one hit per game with 29, including three homers, one triple and two doubles.
The Raleigh, North Carolina native had one of his best performances of the season on April 4, knocking in four Bulldogs on two home runs and three hits against Wofford.
In Beantown, Fosberg has hit .212 in 33 games as of April 28. He’s had 22 hits thus far and batted in 15 Huskies. He’s smacked six doubles and three home runs.
